C\u2019est pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment le pr\u00e9sent exercice : faire appel \u00e0 un panel de sp\u00e9cialistes, historiens, curators et journalistes, et republier dans un contexte d\u2019\u00e9dition papier une partie du contenu d\u2019un site Internet qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 fondateur pour la diffusion de la pratique photographique en Afrique.Afrique in Visu est une plateforme participative d\u2019\u00e9changes autour du m\u00e9tier de photographe en Afrique, lanc\u00e9e en 2006 au Mali par Jeanne Mercier et Baptiste de Ville d\u2019Avray. Forte d\u2019une centaine de collaborateurs r\u00e9guliers (photographes, journalistes, critiques), c\u2019est une archive vivante et un laboratoire de cr\u00e9ation autour de la pratique photographique en Afrique. Elle met en r\u00e9seau les professionnels de l\u2019image du continent, quelque soit leur nationalit\u00e9, leur appartenance ou leur origine et diffuse la cr\u00e9ation contemporaine pour permettre un \u00e9change de savoir-faire autour de l\u2019image. Pas de classement, ni aucune tentative de pr\u00e9tendre \u00e0 une existence d\u2019une histoire de la photographie africaine. Un seul leitmotiv : un territoire, au-del\u00e0 de ses fronti\u00e8res terrestres ou maritimes, l\u2019AFRIQUE.
